School President Message
Talladega College
Mr L. Prater,Ed.D.
Welcome to Talladega College, Alabama’s oldest, private, historically Black, liberal arts institution. Talladega has a proven track record of providing a solid foundation for its graduates. The College has been nationally ranked for its success in producing graduates who pursue post-baccalaureate degrees and professional certifications in their various occupations. The Princeton Review, a publisher of college guide books, named Talladega College among the 2005 “Best Colleges in the Southeastern Region.” As W.E.B. DuBois wrote in his article published in a 1928 edition of The Crisis Magazine, “Talladega is today one of the best and best growing institutions of the south…” DuBois’ observation is as true in the 21st century, as it was in 1928. Talladega College is one of the best growing institutions of the south that continues to produce this nation’s greatest asset--future leaders.

TrenholmTech, as we are fondly called, has two accessible campuses that provide high quality training at half the cost of commercial schools and universities. TrenholmTech partners with businesses to train individuals for current jobs. We promote economic growth. TrenholmTech operates by ten ethical precepts that make-up successful work ethics: Respect, Attendance, Character, Teamwork, Appearance, Attitude, Productivity, Organization, Communication, and Cooperation. Our personnel model these traits and promote them among our students. In this way we help enhance the quality of life.
