Philander Smith College
Dr Walter M. Kimbrough
Many educators are willing to invite academically gifted students to participate in the learning process. Philander Smith welcomes both the academically prepared as well as those students who may need the help of special services to maintain satisfactory academic progress at the College. The full evaluation of a student is not based solely on his or her report card or what he or she may be at the moment. In addition to these factors, the president, the faculty, and staff consider what each student may become if given a fair chance for growth and development.
