Central State University
Dr Willie Houston
We Welcome you...The College offers twenty-six degree programs in the arts, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences, and computer science. In addition, by offering courses to support the General Education program, the College provides students with a broad foundation in the liberal arts. The guiding principle of General Education is that each person who graduates from college should possess the ability to think carefully and analytically, to communicate information and ideas effectively, to know history and its role in shaping the present, to use technology to enhance learning, and to understand human life more deeply and productively through acquaintance with the work of writers, thinkers, and pioneers in the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.
